| Yikes, It's been a while since I've updated and a lot has changed since the last time. For one, I graduated from College!!! Yay for no more homework! On the other hand I'm going to be staying around Longview for a while. I got a job working with the school's network department. I gotta admit, this may not be the best place to live, but it sure was a convenient job. Not a lot of transition to go through and I can start making money to pay off loans.
Speaking of loans, I got a new car! A Honda Fit, to be exact. Yeah, sure my old car was cheap, but things kept breaking and I was getting tired of living with all the quirks that it had to offer. I know, I definitely saved time when I could take a shower while driving to work, thanks to my leaky sunroof, but seriously, that old clunker served me well, and I was just ready to get something better.
Well, now it's on with life, you know, since college wasn't real or anything....

| So last weekend, we had a visit from some RVA guys from Union. It was a good time, just chillin, drinking chai, and they even played a bit of rugby. One of the guys was Matt, who I pretty much grew up with. It was great to see him again.
This weekend started out kind of bad, since I came down with a cold on Thursday. Had to skip classes (but hey that's not too bad :) Anyways, I got better and on friday I headed out to the Mukappa camp out. Saturday I got to help out with the Audio Adrenaline and Mercy Me concert. Apparently it was Audio Adrenaline's last tour, and thus their last show in Texas. I got to help unload the trucks and setup the stage. In return I got to drool over some of the sound equipment and see the concert for free! It was a big job, but thanks to everyone who organized the thing, the concert went off without a hitch.
Anyways, too bad Audio Adrenaline didn't play Chevette, but they did play a goodbye song. I thought they should have also played "It's Over", but I ended up playing that in my car on the way home. Goodbye Audio A, lots of good memories growing up listening to your stuff, I'll miss you.

| Well things worked out and everything was done on time (just in case you were wondering). Spring break was good. I got to catch up on a lot of stuff. Homework, sleep, etc. Made some money working and helping pull wires at the Belch. I made myself pancakes for breakfast about three days out of the week and slept in till about 10am every day. I may not have gone anywhere special, but I did enjoy my stress-free time here.
So now it's back to the grind, things are due, and deadlines draw near. Graduation is coming and I still am not sure what's happening afterwards. I think I'll be sticking around here for a few years, I got some job offers even though I haven't really gone looking too far. It seems that in my four years of gathering knowledge, I have found that there is a whole heck of a lot more that I don't know.
I just feel like I'm blind as a bat flying around in a room with sound proof walls. No clue where I'm going or what I'm gonna hit next.

| So since my last post, life has been busy... really busy. Of course it is partly my fault for taking so many hours at work, but still, I don't think I would get much more done if I had all that time free anyways. Programs translation is going alright. It's like I'm treading water and just when I think that I'm getting up above the waves, something else comes along and hits me. So I'm keeping up with that... barely. Micro computers, on the other hand is a complete mess. I've been working on that for the past week at almost every chance I get and I'm still behind. Apparently we're supposed to have our PCB design done by Tomorrow, and I just have the schematic done, so I've got a lot of work to do. Oh yeah, and the fact that me and most of the class feel like we have no clue what we're doing and no confidence that what we are doing will work.
The most annoying thing is that I haven't been slacking off, I've been working my butt off and I'm still behind. What I would give just to be on top of things...

| Well we're finally moved into our apartment and life is starting to become "normal" again. It took a while to get things setup, since the first weekend our storage room was inaccessible since the people with the keys had to go to a funeral. It wasn't until the next weekend that we were able to get a truck and the time to move all the big stuff over, so we were sleeping on the floor for about a week. Then it wasn't until just this last weekend that I had the time to unpack my boxes and get things organized. So it just feels good be in one spot and have all my stuff setup.
